In addition to registering your Alpha course on the "My Alpha" webpage, please use this separate sign-up page to add your parish as participants in the November 4th Alpha "Time Away" Retreat for Alpha Guests. We will check in with you for a guest headcount as we get closer to the retreat day (probably the month before). 

WHAT IS THE "TIME AWAY" RETREAT? 

The "Time Away," also known as the "Holy Spirit" Retreat takes place during week 8 of the Alpha Course and week 7 of the Alpha Youth Course. 

This is often referred to the "high point" of Alpha because guests are given an opportunity to receive prayer ministry for the first time and they get to experience the Holy Spirit for themselves.  

For those running Alpha for the first time, this can be the most intimidating part.  So, we want to model for you how to run this retreat and put your mind at ease that the Holy Spirit will come to those who ask. This is truly the most important part of the Alpha experience.
